Roxanne Tio
Roxanne Tio graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of the West of England, Bristol, United Kingdom, in 2015. She later obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice in Malaysia and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2018.
Roxanne’s legal expertise spans a wide range of matters, representing clients from individuals to multinational corporations. Her notable experience includes:
- Advising and assisting clients in reaching settlement agreements among directors, shareholders, and beneficial owners within a group of companies with assets exceeding RM10 million.
- Advising corporate clients on cross-border IT transactions and drafting commercial contracts in both English and Chinese.
- Safeguarding client interests in overseas joint venture arrangements, including the development of a data centre in Batam.
- Providing legal advice to financial institutions, ensuring compliance with Shariah principles and protecting their interests.
Her background in contentious legal matters enhances her capabilities in advising clients on complex corporate and commercial issues.
Roxanne is multilingual, fluent in English, Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia, and Cantonese, which enables her to effectively communicate and provide tailored solutions to a diverse range of clients.
